Privacy Policy

  • The comment feature on this blog is disabled, so I will not be gathering any personal information from visitors, such as:
    • Name or physical address.
    • Email address or phone number.
    • IP address.
    • Any other personally identifiable information.
  • This site does not use tracking of any kind, such as:
    • Third party cookies.
    • Any cookies at all, really.
    • Social widgets that track you.
    • Facebook Pixel (fuck Facebook).
  • If you subscribe via email, the follow.it email does track your click to the blog. However–
    • I don’t see that data.
    • You can protect your privacy by using DuckDuckGo email forwarding. They remove trackers from emails, then forward them to your real email address that you provide when you sign up.
  • This site does not use analytics of any kind; not even a simple site counter.
  • What I do know:
    • Who subscribes via email.
  • What I don’t know:
    • Who reads the emails or how often.
    • Who subscribes via the RSS feed.
    • Who visits this blog, when, or how often.
    • Where they visit from.
    • What posts they read.
  • This site will never have ads.
    • Not a single one.
    • Not ever.
  • Just for good measure, I use a SSL certificate for a secure connection.
  • For my own privacy:
    • All EXIF data has been stripped from all of my photos.
    • I have private domain registration.
    • I never use real names for myself or anyone else.
    • I never use names of companies I’ve worked for in the past, currently work for, or currently work with.
    • I’ve enabled the “discourage search engines” setting for this blog because I don’t want it easily found.

I think that about covers it. It’s pretty simple, really. This site is read-only, I don’t want anyone who doesn’t know me knowing who writes it, and I don’t gather any information about anyone who reads.
